It is the norm for the affluent community of Muslims known as immigrants-though some are 2nd & 3rd generation born in America-to focus most (almost all) of the contributions to building communities amongst themselves and sending resources abroad. with little aid given to indigenous American Muslims. This episode reveals that those causes typically championed by these communities also exist here in America and deserved equal or equitable attention!
